Apparently, I just look like an actor...

So, Saturday I go to visit the ex to discuss legal matters. After that we have lunch and start to chat. She tells me that she wants to get back on stage. So, I recommend Costa Mesa Civic Playhouse. It’s close and they do good work. “Let’s go check it out.”
“Can we go right now?’
“Why not.’
We drive down there and they have a big sign out front: “Auditions Today”.
I just start laughing. I drag her inside and they tell us that they are auditioning for “The Full Monty”
She starts laughing.
Well long story, short, I railroad her into auditioning. She sings. Sounds great after 17 years. They call her back for Tuesday.
She comes back on Tuesday. I go along for “Moral Support”.
And get offered a part in another.
I was just talking to a guy in the Lobby. Turns out he wrote a show and needs an actor.
So, I will be in “Earthlings, Beware!’ at Costa Mesa Civic Playhouse in August.
They haven’t even announced the cast for “The Full Monty” yet. When I told her they offered me a part, she just rolled her eyes at me.
“Of course, they did....”
